Recurrent Miscarriage Treatment in Connecticut

Common miscarriage treatment may include:
- Anatomic testing of the uterus. Often this is completed through a simple procedure called a sonohysterogram or a hysteroscopy, which helps Dr. Levi to view the uterus and discover any abnormalities in shape, cysts, or polyps that can interfere with a normal pregnancy.
- Blood testing. After a miscarriage, blood tests can help determine whether enough hormones are being produced, whether you may have had an infection, or if miscarriage may have been related to being Rh negative.
- Uterine lining biopsy. A biopsy can help determine if the lining can support a pregnancy and whether your hormones are balanced.
- Chromosomal testing. More than half of miscarriages before 13 weeks are caused by chromosomal abnormalities. You and your partner may be required to complete a blood test for chromosomal testing.
